Features & Usage

  • How do I get started with RiConnect?

    Register a company account via the agent link to begin managing your equipment with RiConnect. You may also add colleagues for team collaboration. RiConnect system and DPP feature both support 46 languages for global use.

  • Can I create custom questions for my equipment in RiConnect?

    RiConnect provides customizable templates to define questions according to equipment, processes, or inspection standards, supporting condition monitoring and control for intelligent asset management.

  • Can products from our company's ERP system be uploaded to RiConnect in bulk?

    Use RiConnect’s API or Excel upload to synchronize your product master files efficiently with the RiConnect database.

  • How does RiConnect notify users about expiring equipment inspections?

    RiConnect automatically sends notifications through the system and via email to indicate upcoming or overdue inspections.

  • How can customers get support if they encounter issues?

    Please contact your designated agent or sales representative first. If the issue persists, you may email [email protected], and our team will respond within three business days.

    For password-related issues, please use the “Forgot Password” option on the login page before reaching out for support.

Technical, Device & Compatibility Support

  • Which devices and platforms is RiConnect compatible with?

    The RiConnect App works on iOS and Android devices. Download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play by searching for "RiConnectApp".

  • Can the RiConnect app be used offline?

    Asset records can be stored temporarily on the mobile device when offline and uploaded once internet access is available.

  • Is RiConnect compatible with NFC-enabled smartphones?

    RiConnect supports NFC and QR Code scanning. Some smartphones may require testing due to variations in NFC design. A Bluetooth RFID reader can be used if NFC is unavailable.

  • Does RiConnect support real-time tracking devices with GPS?

    RiConnect support the GPS function on mobile phones. If users enable the GPS service on their phones and authorize RiConnect to access their location, we can record the user's last location during each inspection.

  • Can digital tags from other companies be used with RiConnect?

    RFID digital tags must comply with the ISO 15693 RF protocol to be compatible with RiConnect.

Data & Security

  • How does RiConnect ensure data security?

  • Do I retain ownership of uploaded data and documents? Can I retrieve my data if I leave RiConnect?

    Please refer to our MSA 2.2 for further details.

  • Can others view my equipment information by scanning RFID tags?

    Authorized users can access information related to assets or products as permitted by the owner.
